TANGO SLK-08 - Texas DST & HITAG Emulator
The Texas DST & HITAG emulator is a universal emulator for 40, 80, and 128-bit Texas DST and HITAG keys. It can be powered by a CR2032 battery or via USB through its USB Type-C port.
Unlike previously released SLK emulators, the SLK-08 supports firmware updates to add new functions and features.
Supported Toyota/Lexus Smart Systems
Currently implemented systems include:
- DST Smart keys with Page1: 94, D4, 98, A8, 88, A9, 39, AA, BA, B9
- Hitag AES Smart keys with Page1: AA, BA
Product Functions
With the SLK-08 and Toyota+ version 10, Tango currently supports the widest range on the market of Toyota & Lexus smart systems—from 2006 models all the way to the latest 2025 vehicles.
Supported functions include:
- All keys lost procedures
- Learn/Erase Keys
- IDcode & ESL registration
Toyota+ can also automatically use and write data during the Key Learn procedure for used or refurbished genuine Toyota/Lexus smart keys—particularly for DST AES/HITAG AES with Page1: AA, BA, B9.

- USB Cable: Type A-Male to C-Male for SLK-08 (not included with SLK-08)
- USB Cable: Type A-Male to B-Male for Tango
- J2534 PassThru compatible OBD cable
- x86/x64 Windows-operated PC running Windows 7, 8, 10, or 11 (64-bit)
- 3 available USB 2.0+ Type-A ports on the PC/laptop
