XTOOL M821 Mercedes-Benz All Keys lost Communication Adapter

The XTOOL M821 Mercedes-Benz All Keys Lost Communication Adapter is used for finishing and optimizing all key lost programming for multiple Mercedes-Benz modules.

With the M821 Adapter, you can save as much as 65% of the calculation time in the process or avoid repeatedly plugging the key emulator in and out hundreds of times.

Note:
The M821 Adapter must be used with advanced XTOOL Key Programming Devices such as the X100 Pad3, X100 Max, and KC501 Key Programmer.

Product Description

1. OBD-16 Port: Used to connect to the J1Z02_BENZ communication cable or to EIS/EZS modules via DuPont cables.
   Caution: Do not connect directly to the OBD port on the vehicle.
2. Status Light: Indicates the power status of the adapter. Red lights illuminated mean the power is on.
3. Comm Light: Indicates the communication status of the adapter. Blue lights illuminated mean the adapter is communicating with the tablet.
4. DB15 Port: Used to connect to the main cable of XTOOL tablets.
   Note: Before connecting to the M821 Adapter, please disconnect the OBD2-16 connector from the main cable.

Connection Method

1. Connect the KC501 to the device via USB.
2. Attach the Mercedes-Benz IR emulator onto the KC501.
3. Disconnect the OBD2 connector from the main cable, then connect the device (or VCI box) to the M821 Adapter using the main cable.
4. Connect the 12V power supply to the main cable.
5. Connect the EIS/EZS module to the M821 Adapter using the J1K02_BENZ cable. Refer to your device for detailed connection instructions.
   Note: Consult the images in your device when connecting the M821 Adapter and EIS/EZS module via the J1K02_BENZ cable.
   Note: The Mercedes-Benz IR emulator must be plugged into the module’s slot during operation.
   Note: For devices that include a VCI box, connect the M821 Adapter to the VCI box using the main cable, and maintain the VCI box’s Bluetooth connection to the device. Check your device for specific connection details.
