Diagnostic Capabilities

With CARS, you can perform brand-specific diagnostics on cars and light vans from 1988 onwards, including a total of 47 different brands. TRUCKS software package supports diagnostics for light and heavy commercial vehicles, buses, and trailers from 1995 onwards, covering 37 different brands.

The GENERIC diagnostic program is included in both CARS and TRUCKS packages, focusing on legislation-based diagnostics for emission-related fault codes.

Flight Recorder Function

The flight recorder function allows you to record parameters in real-time while driving, highlighting specific errors with a press of a button for later investigation. Built-in memory ensures no need for an external computer.

Multicolor Indicator

The multicolor indicator provides full control over the diagnostic process through different colors and sounds. Placement allows easy visibility from afar, such as alternating blue and green indicating communication with the vehicle's control unit.

Voltage Check

TCS TCS checks battery voltage of vehicles and automatically adjusts to 12 or 24 volts. It warns you with sound and light if the voltage is too high or low, also indicated through a battery icon in diagnostic software.

Chassis Number VIN

The CARS software includes a smart function to read the chassis number from vehicles for automatic model and year selection. Engine codes are selected automatically for commonly available market models.

Intelligent System Scan (ISS)

ISS scans all vehicle systems, displaying stored fault codes for a quick overview of the entire vehicle's status. After ISS, you can select specific control systems for further analysis.

Intelligent System Identification (ISI)

ISI automatically identifies and selects the type of controller mounted in the vehicle to ensure correct diagnostic sessions with appropriate parameters.

Report Function

The report function allows you to see adaptations and adjustments for specific vehicles without needing them present. Help texts guide you through complex situations.

OBD-Functions

CDP DS150 features unique multiplexer technology suitable for all vehicle types, regardless of voltage levels or communication standards. Adapter cables and kits are available for non-standard 16-pin connectors.
