Description of Lexia-3

• Compatible with Citroen cars including C1, C2, C3, C4, C6, C8, C-CROSSER, NEMO, BERLINGO, JUMPY, JUMPER, AX, SAXO, BX and more. Not recommended for new models of C5.
• Compatible with most Peugeot cars from 1995 onwards. Please check with us first before purchase if you have Citroen C5 or other specific models.
• Diagnostics can be performed via OBD-II connector (near steering wheel) or manufacturer-specific connector (older cars, pre-2001).

LEXIA-3/PP2000 Functionality

This software performs nearly all the functions of the original dealer diagnostic tool. It supports K-Line multiplexor, CAN-BUS interfaces, and SAE J1850 bus (PWM and VPW).

Functions

1. Read Identification: Displays complete identification of control units.
2. Read Fault Codes: Displays all stored and pending fault codes with descriptions like "Rail pressure - too low pressure". Program supports report printing or copying to clipboard.
3. Clear Fault Codes: Clears all stored fault codes and other diagnostic information.
4. Auto-Scan (Complete Car Scan/Test): Detects all ECUs installed in the car and reads all diagnostic fault codes.
5. Displays live data like Engine Speed, Battery Voltage, Oxygen Sensor, Coolant Temperature. Values can be displayed graphically, in 9 values at once, or as a full listing (all measured values). Logging to file is supported for offline analysis.
6. Actuator Test: Activates particular actuators like turning on the fuel pump, locking/unlocking wheels and doors, cutting off fuel supply, etc.

Q1: Are there any new car models that the Lexia-3 software supports?

A1: Yes, the Lexia-3 Citroen/Peugeot Diagnostic PP2000 adds support for the following models:

Q2: Does Lexia-3 test the tire pressure?

A2: Yes, if your car has a Tire Pressure Control Unit (TPCU), Lexia-3 can test the tire pressure.

Q3: Does Lexia-3 work with Peugeot 308?

A3: Yes, it does. However, please check which year your Peugeot 308 is as Lexia-3 PP2000 supports models from 1996 to 2008.

Q4: I installed the software on Windows 7 but it doesn't work. What could be the problem?

A4: The software can only run on Windows XP systems. You need a compatible computer with XP system to use this tool.

Q5: Is PPS compatible with Peugeot 307 HDI?

A5: Yes, it works with Peugeot 307. However, it is not compatible with Hybrid Diesel Peugeot models; it only supports gasoline cars.

Q6: Can Lexia-3 PP2000 work with Peugeot 407 from 2005 after installing a new DPF? Can I reset the DPF and Eolys counters?

A6: PP2000 supports Peugeot 407 from 2005, but we haven't tested its compatibility with DPF or Eolys systems. These are typically truck or diesel car systems.

Q7: Can you store the Lexia3 PP2000 and Diagbox 6.01 software in one CD?

A7: No, they must be stored on two different CDs to avoid installation errors.

Q8: During the installation of Lexia-3, I got an error reading "Activation Failure (Error 20)."

A8: The Lexia3 PP2000 and Diagbox V6.01 software were previously stored on the same CD, but now they are separately stored on two different CDs. Please download the Diagbox V6.01 from here if it doesn't work, contact us for a CD.

Q9: I installed Diagbox software on Windows XP (32-bit) and couldn't communicate with the car. The PPS software installed on another computer also failed to communicate. What could be the issue?

A9: Try installing Lexia3 software first. If it communicates successfully, it suggests that Diagbox wasn't installed properly or your system isn't compatible. We will provide a video tutorial for Diagbox installation.
