About iOBD2 BMW

iOBD2 BMW is part of the iOBD2 code scanner series, specifically designed for BMW car models. It works with your iPhone or iPad running iOS and communicates via Bluetooth to diagnose all BMW car systems.

iOBD2 BMW Functions

Supports diagnosing all BMW car systems including engine, ABS, Airbag, Transmission, etc.
Supports OBDII/EOBD protocols for car diagnosis.
SUPPORTS SI-Reset.
Records data like engine speed, ignition time, fuel correction, fuel consumption, coolant temperature
EVAP System Test: Controls on-board system operation and tests components.
Reads vehicle information such as VIN, CALID, CVN.
Sensor test: Accesses on-board oxygen sensor monitoring results. Same info can be obtained by Mode 6 test.
Mode 6 test: Accesses results of specific components/systems monitored intermittently (e.g., catalyst and evaporative system).
Emissions Testing: Reads and clears diagnostic trouble codes, checks IM Readiness status.

My Dashboard

Control various car parameters:

Idle speed mode: Voltage, intake air flow, real-time fuel consumption (static), coolant temperature, spark advance angle, engine speed.
Cruise mode: Vehicle travel time, average speed, continuous running mileage, average fuel consumption, vehicle speed.
Sport mode: Vehicle speed, coolant temperature, real-time fuel consumption (dynamic), acceleration, engine speed.

Performance Testing

Provides detailed car data and information such as acceleration and deceleration tests from 0 to 400 meters.

Settings

Configure dashboard data, set speed, mileage, temperature, fuel consumption. Adjust fuel consumption coefficient between 0.9-1.1 (initial value is 1).

History Record

Stores test data like DTC, data streams, freeze frames, and dashboard data.

Information

Read iOBD2 information and assist with Bluetooth settings.

Performance Test

Accelerate/Decelerate test: Measure acceleration/deceleration time and distance.

Connection Guide

Connect your BMW car's standard OBDII connector under the dashboard, download iOBD2 software via iTunes on iPhone/iPad, pair with Bluetooth using password "0000", and activate the software.
